Lee Academy is an independent school, privately owned and operated.
It is our job to challenge and support all our students so that the programmes work for them. All students are assessed before entering the school and every opportunity is taken to help your child thrive at Lee Academy.
We are not a Montesorri school. Our academic programmes are rigorous and structured to have each student work to his/her potential.
No. Students are able to heat up food brought from home. We offer a healthy afternoon snack programme for students included with enrolment. Students bring lunches from home on other days except for special occasion days once a month. (e.g. pizza day, sub sandwich day, etc.)
Yes! We believe very strongly that students benefit from connecting what they are studying to the world at large. Every class goes on several trips throughout the year.
Yes! Our South Campus has a beautiful library named for our former governor, Hope Lee. The Hope Lee Library provides students with access to thousands of titles.

Our North Campus has a newly renovated library ready to introduce our newest students to a lifelong love of reading.

Yes, all our teachers hold an Ontario B.Ed. or equivalent if trained internationally. Many teachers specialize and have additional qualifications in the subjects they teach.
Communication is very important at Lee Academy. The students carry agendas or binders with notes, forms and other important information to and from school each day. We use EDSBY, an online educational platform, as a reference and communication hub for all things related to Lee Academy and we regularly use email and telephone to communicate with parents and families.

Please refer to the ‘Registration‘ page on our website detailing enrolment procedures. Thank you for your interest.

An After School Programme is available at North Campus only. The programme includes a healthy snack plate, fun activities and outdoor play. Please contact our North Campus director at directornorth@leeacademy.com for more information.
